Steam problems

We're sorry for the problems you may have encountered over the last few days using Steam here. It turns out that Valve managed to break the cafe version of the Steam client during their latest update! We've since found a solution, and are in the process of applying it to all our computers.

Left4Dead2

Left 4 Dead 2 released and playing at Wired Inn!

The eagerly awaited sequel to VALVE's incredibly popular mulitplayer shooter Left 4 Dead has been released, and is of course available to play in Wired Inn! The game follows similar lines to the original, which sees 4 people who have escaped infection do battle against their former fellow humans.

A new setting in the deep south of America, as well as the ability to melée with zombies, using a selection of implements from baseball bats to frying pans and even guitars brings a new lease of life to this game.

So why not bring 3 friends down and give the game a go? It's always better together!

Left4Dead Crash Course

Left4Dead new DLC

The new L4D DLC was released yesterday (well, it was Tuesday night after we'd gone home actually). Crash Course delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay and bridges the storyline between the No Mercy and Death Toll campaigns in the original game.

As with all our Steam games, it was available to play from the moment of release. We recommend you come in and try it; playing with another 7 people in the same room is awesome fun!
